Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor at Lomonosov Moscow State University, a leading expert in quantum optics and quantum field theory. The results of her work provide the theoretical foundation for building highly secure quantum communication channels and quantum repeaters.

Ryazanov Valery Vladimirovich
Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Chief Researcher at the Institute of Solid State Physics RAS and Professor at MIPT, a pioneer in the experimental physics of Josephson junctions. He is the author of the world‘s first experimental observation of a supercurrent through a ferromagnet (SFS junction) and a pioneer in the implementation of π-contacts — key elements for scalable superconducting qubits. Recipient of the Lenin Komsomol Prize, principal investigator of over 25 research projects

Shchegolev Andrey Evgenyevich
Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, researcher at MTUCI, working at the cutting-edge intersection of neuromorphic and quantum technologies. He develops spiking neural network (SNN) architectures that utilize macroscopic quantum effects (e.g., in Josephson media) to emulate bio-inspired information processing. His research paves the way for a new generation of energy-efficient processors.

The introductory day (March 9, 2026, Monday) is intended for the organizational start: registration, an introductory lecture on the goals and tracks of the internship, an introductory briefing on the laboratory infrastructure, and setting independent work tasks.
К финалу стажировки участники способны подготовить (индивидуально или в малых командах) проектный материал уровня инженерной концепции:

проект интеграции КРК в сеть заказчика (топология, размещение оборудования, уровни OSI, требования стандартов);
план мониторинга/диагностики и сценарии реагирования на инциденты;
оценка рисков (включая квантовые и постквантовые аспекты), а также предложение гибридного криптографического контура.
Координация телеком-части консорциума из 8 ведущих вузов; опыт построения квантовой инфраструктуры масштаба 3500 км.

By the end of the internship, participants will be able to prepare (individually or in small teams) project materials at the engineering concept level:

a design for integrating a QKD into the customer's network (topology, equipment placement, OSI layers, standard requirements);
a monitoring/diagnostics plan and incident response scenarios;
a risk assessment (including quantum and post-quantum aspects), and a proposal for a hybrid cryptographic framework.
